Steps

  1. The court's foreclosure-by-sale standing orders (JD-CV-79) say owners who have not appeared should file an appearance, themselves or through counsel, to protect their interest in the equity, and should check with the Clerk after the sale.
  2. After the sale, ask the Clerk of the Court whether money may be distributable to you.
  3. Make sure the motion for supplemental judgment, due within 90 days after the sale is approved, lists you, or file your own claim.
