- Search your name at unclaimedfunds.nj.gov
- File the claim online
- Send only the documents the UPA requests on your claim form
- Receive payment with interest earned while the state held it

- Photo ID with a signature (driver's license or state ID)
- Document showing your name and full SSN
- Proof you lived at the reported address (for example a utility bill)
- Proof of name change if needed
