Market watch + journal · white-label source licence

A market-watch and trading journal, under your name

CryptoChallenge tracks prices, keeps a personal trading journal, and fires price alerts to iPhone and Apple Watch - all backed by a small server you run yourself. It never places a trade or connects to a brokerage. License the source, rebrand it with one config file, ship it as your own. By Roger Maragh.

What you get

iPhone app

Dashboard, journal, watchlist and alerts - the whole client, tested with a real unit test suite.

Apple Watch + widgets

A Watch app and complications, plus a Home Screen widget - all synced through your own server.

The server

Python/Node backend: market data, preferences sync, push notifications, and a private web dashboard.

Never places trades

Information only, by design - no brokerage connection anywhere in the app, which keeps App Store review simple.

How white-labeling works

  1. 1

    Fill in brand.json

Your app's name, your company, your bundle ID and your server's host name.

  2. 2

    Stand up your server

Deploy the backend on your own always-on host, and connect your own Apple Push Notification credentials.

  3. 3

    Ship the app

Build in Xcode under your own Apple Developer account. A ready App Store Connect listing kit ships with your copy.
