Market research app for iPhone and iPad · pilot or source licence

Your own market research app, on the App Store under your name.

MarketLens is a native research desk for iPhone and iPad: a market brief every morning, screens, earnings and economic calendars, options chains with the spread maths shown, SEC filings research and alerts, with home-screen and Lock Screen widgets. It researches; it never trades. Every feed is fetched on the device, so there is nothing to host. Live on the App Store; put it under your own brand. By Roger Maragh.

Your brand on it

The same app built by the white-label kit for a made-up buyer, Signal Desk: every screen, the widget, Siri and the share cards carry their name. The kit then runs the app's more than 1,100 unit tests on the rebranded copy.

What you get

A brief every morning

Built before the open in the background, with a widget for the home screen and the Lock Screen.

Research with receipts

Filings from SEC EDGAR, quotes and sentiment, each with where and when it came from.

It grades itself

Calibration compares what the app claimed with what happened next, so users can see its record.

Research, not advice

It never places a trade, and the in-app notices say so plainly.

How white-labeling works

  1. 1

    Fill in brand.json

App name, bundle ID, App Group, deep-link scheme and the mailbox the SEC can reach. The name lives in one file in the app.

  2. 2

    Check the data sources

The app reads Nasdaq, Yahoo Finance, SEC EDGAR, StockTwits, ApeWisdom and Tradestie from the device. Check each one's terms for use under your name.

  3. 3

    Publish as your own

Ship under your own Apple Developer account; App Store review is between you and Apple.
